15 March 2010

One of the city’s most prestigious hotel’s is encouraging its guests to put on their pyjamas for charity.

Not one to shy away from Scouse traditions, invited guests attending Thursday’s launch of the Butterfly Silk range will put on their robe and slippers and sip pink champagne to celebrate the a range of luxury silk nightwear and gifts created by Irresistible Lingerie for North West Cancer Research Fund.

Hand made in the UK from 100% pure silk and edged in delicate pink ribbon, the Butterfly silk nightwear range consists of an elegant chemise and clam-digger length pyjamas, as well as a beautiful lingerie bag edged with lace.

All pieces from the nightwear range feature the stunning Butterfly Silk motif which is designed to include the North West Cancer Research butterfly logo symbolising life and hope.

Anne Jackson, Chief Executive, North West Cancer Research Fund said: “We loved the idea of creating a range of nightwear which would benefit the charity – the range is glamorous and practical and we thought a pyjama party would be a fitting way to celebrate its launch.”

The collection is available from nwcrf.co.uk, irresistible-lingerie.com and several independent lingerie retailers across the North West with prices starting from £18.

From each item sold from the Butterfly Silk range, a donation will be made to NWCRF.
