NO SILENT NIGHT TO HELP BEAT CANCER
13 November 2009
Christmas carollers in Wirral are being invited to tune up their vocal chords for a charity Christmas carol concert.
The concert, held in association with the Wallasey Choir, will get families into the festive spirit with a great mix of contemporary and traditional Christmas songs.
Mulled wine will also be provided.
Anne Jackson, Chief Executive of North West Cancer Research Fund, said: “We’re really excited about the carol concert. It’s the perfect way to bring festive cheer to families in Wallasey and a great opportunity for the community to get involved in fundraising in a fun way. At Christmas time, more than ever, we need to think about the devastating effects of cancer and find a way to beat it.”
As well as festive favourites, there will be a performance from Sounds Central Young Voices.
The event, in aid of North West Cancer Research Fund, takes place at Harrison Hall in Wallasey on Friday 4th December at 7.30pm.
Adult tickets for the concert cost £5 each. Tickets for children over 3 are £2.50 and the price for concessions is £3.50.
They can be purchased by calling North West Cancer Research Fund on 0151 709 2919.
