CHARITY SUPPORTERS CAN ENJOY TOUCH OF GLAMOUR

Charity fund-raisers who support the cutting-edge work of research scientists are holding an Evening of Glamour in conjunction with world-famous beauty brand Elizabeth Arden.
Guests will be able to sample perfumes and fragrances, and enjoy demonstrations of the latest make-up, skin and hair-care products. Everyone attending will receive a special free gift.
The event, organised by the North West Cancer Research Fund, takes place at Wallasey Golf Club on Wednesday May 20, starting at 7.30. Tickets cost £5 each, available on the door.
NWCRF Wallasey Branch chair Doreen Sands said: “This promises to be a really luxurious occasion. We’re delighted that Elizabeth Arden are lending their support.
“We’d love to welcome new faces on the evening. It’s open to everyone – so come along, enjoy yourself, try some new make-up or beauty treatments - and you’ll be helping a great cause too.”
The NWCRF provides funds to support scientists investigating cancer at three research centres, in the Universities of Liverpool, Lancaster and Bangor.
